About ASIRS Fellows

The ASIRS Fellowship recognizes outstanding scholars who have made significant contributions to their fields

Eligibility
ASIRS Fellows are distinguished scholars with a strong record of research excellence, publication, and service to the academic community. Fellowship is by invitation or nomination only.
Selection Process
Candidates are nominated by current Fellows or the ASIRS Board. Nominations are reviewed by the Fellowship Committee based on scholarly impact, leadership, and commitment to open access.
Fellowship Benefits
Fellows receive lifetime recognition, full membership benefits, 100% APC waiver, and eligibility for editorial board and leadership roles within ASIRS.
