Submit Your Book Proposal

StarNexus Science Press welcomes book proposals from scholars working at the intersection of AI, Digital Medicine, and Intelligent Systems. We publish monographs, edited volumes, and reference works that advance knowledge and practice in these rapidly evolving fields. We encourage submissions from both established and early-career researchers.

Scope & Subject Areas

We are particularly interested in proposals that address:

  • Artificial Intelligence — machine learning, generative AI, responsible AI, AI ethics and governance
  • Digital Medicine & Health — digital therapeutics, health data science, AI-assisted diagnosis, telemedicine
  • Intelligent Systems — robotics, autonomous systems, intelligent engineering, edge intelligence
  • Interdisciplinary Studies — AI and society, digital transformation, technology policy, human–AI interaction

Prepare Your Proposal

A complete book proposal should include the following materials:

  • Title and subtitle of the proposed book
  • Abstract (300–500 words) summarizing the book's scope, argument, and contribution
  • Table of contents with chapter summaries (one paragraph per chapter)
  • Author information — full names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and brief biographical notes
  • Target audience and competing titles, with an explanation of how the book differs
  • Manuscript status — whether it is complete, in draft, or yet to be written
  • Sample chapter (optional but strongly encouraged)

How to Submit

Proposals may be submitted through either of the following channels:

  • Online submission system — register or log in to the press website and follow the five-step submission process
  • Email submission — send your proposal directly to books@starnexus.press

All proposals are acknowledged within 5 business days. Proposals that pass initial editorial screening are sent for external peer review.

Review & Publication Process

Our publication workflow consists of the following stages:

  • Initial screening — editorial assessment of scope, quality, and fit with the press
  • Double-blind peer review — evaluation by at least three independent experts
  • Editorial decision — acceptance, revision, or rejection based on reviewer reports
  • Copyediting and typesetting — professional production of the final book
  • Publication — online publication with DOI and ISBN registration under CC BY 4.0

Note: BPC is invoiced only after acceptance. No submission fees are charged at any stage.

Authors publishing with StarNexus Science Press retain copyright of their work under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). We also provide:
