Guidance & Training

What kind of guidance does Nexus Insights offer?

We offer guidance in three main areas: (1) research design and topic selection, (2) academic writing and manuscript preparation, and (3) journal selection, submission, and response to reviewers.

How does the one-to-one guidance work?

After you submit a request, we match you with one or two editorial board members whose expertise aligns with your research. Guidance is provided through online meetings or written feedback, typically over 2–4 sessions.

How long does a typical guidance cycle take?

Most guidance cycles run for 4–8 weeks, depending on the scope of the manuscript and the availability of both parties. You can request an extension if needed.

Do I need to have a complete manuscript to request guidance?

No. You can request guidance at any stage—whether you are refining a research idea, drafting a manuscript, or preparing a response to reviewers.

For Journals

What support does Nexus Insights provide for journals?

We help journal editorial teams optimize their submission and review workflows, train reviewers on evaluation standards, and develop ethical and AI-use policies aligned with COPE guidelines.

Can Nexus Insights help with reviewer training?

Yes. We offer structured reviewer training sessions that cover evaluation criteria, constructive feedback writing, confidentiality, and handling conflicts of interest.

Is there a fee for journal-level training?

Basic consultation is free for journals published by StarNexus Science Press. For external journals or customized training programs, a service fee may apply. Please contact us for a quote.

How can I join the Nexus Insights editorial team?
